The Sepoy’s Kasundi Sauce 250g bottle
The Sepoys were native Indian soldiers, allied to a European power, usually the United Kingdom. Specifically they were infantry privates in the British Indian Army.
This Kasundi-style Sauce is now made by us in Australia from local and imported ingredients to an old recipe from a trusted and loyal Sepoy.
The one dish in our house that gets everyone at the table pretty quickly is Kasundi Chicken. The chicken pieces are marinated for about 15 to 30 minutes in the kasundi sauce and are then placed on an oven tray and into the oven to cook. We then serve it with steamed rice and Mango Chutney. Kasundi sauce is a spicy sauce that is also used as a BBQ condiment with sausages or meats.
